Envirolution has plans to help local youth develop leadership skills to build a more sustainable planet.

Maricela Donahue is trying to train diverse young people to be leaders for social change in their communities.

Courage Campaign Institute wants to run Camp Courage, a place for empowering and leadership training for LGBT youth.

The American Leadership Institute is planning on giving low-income youth paid internships and fellowships at nonprofits.

Grand Aspirations wants to teach youth innovators how to grow the green economy.

Beth Meyer is working to enhance the impact of nonprofits in Arizona communities.

Inner City Law Center wants to get homeless veterans get off the streets.

Policy Matters Ohio has an ambitious plan to help poor and middle class Ohio families build assets.

Andrew Williamson is providing help for women who are transitioning from welfare to work.

The International Federation of Black Pride is hoping to teach LGBT college students how to fight homophia on college campuses and beyond.

 

the slate has included organizations working to help the homeless, provide food to the poor, combat human trafficking in the u.s., protect children from dangerous slum housing, provide nonprofit internships for low-income youth, and give young people access to life-saving health care.
